Une saponification
Il existe deux méthodes différentes pour la fabrication d’un savon : la saponification à froid ou la saponification à chaud. C’est par la méthode de la saponification à froid que sont fabriqués ma gamme de savon.
Pour fabriquer un savon artisanal en saponification à froid, nous mélangeons notre corps gras, (huile d’olive, l’huile de colza, l’huile de tournesol et l’huile de coco) avec la base du savon (l’hydroxyde de sodium). Ce mélange est mixé à la main. Une fois que le mélange commence à s’épaissir, je le coule dans mes moules. Après quelques jours, je démoule et découpe mes savons à la main. Après cette étape, mes savons sèchent au minimum pendant 2 mois. Un savon artisanal nécessite donc du temps et de la passion pour sa fabrication.
Le savon artisanal fabriqué par cette méthode présente l’avantage d’être surgras. En effet, la saponification à froid permet de créer des savons surgras c’est-à-dire riches en glycérine naturelle, cet agent hydratant et assouplissant pour la peau. Conseils d’utilisation : Humidifier abondamment le savon dans le creux des mains jusqu’à l’obtention d’une fine mousse. Appliquer sur la peau mouillée, du bout des doigts ou à l’aide d’un gant de toilette humidifié, se savonner puis rincer soigneusement.
Évitez tout contact avec les yeux, sinon rincez immédiatement à l’eau. Pour tous types de peau.
